Potty Training

So its been a long adventure trying to potty train little Jefrie.  She has been excited about it many times so we start to train her but then she refuses after a couple days.  I dont blame her, she has been through a lot of transitions in the last year but Im SO READY for her to be trained already.  Im so thankful for wonderful friends that have helped me with this trial and given me support and ideas to encourage her again, and agian, and again. Well, we have tried a lot and shortly after we start she just seems to not care about the candy/toys she will get when she goes.  The latest was "no Im a baby."   She is so stinkin smart too because of coarse we were telling her that Eastyn is still a baby and that's why she wears diapers still so when she really wanted an apple one day after saying she is a baby i told her that babies cant have apples.  and her response "Eastyn eats apples"  lol  I CANT WIN!!!

Until now, I hope anyway.  We told her yesterday morning that the diaper fairies came and took her diapers away.  They all think she is a big girl and should wear her big girl underwear.  She bought it!  And she did pretty good at going on the potty.  After a few accidents she wanted to talk to the fairies that took her diapers.  lol  She cracks me up.  We only had 3 accidents yesterday and at the end of the day she ran in my room and said "mom I stopped my pee!"  she was so excited about it so we ran to the potty and she finished in the toilet with only a little piddle in her undies.  I think/hope/pray that I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  This morning she had a dry diaper (the fairy let us keep 10 diapers for bed time only) and went on the potty right away.  :-)

Prego belly

Im 33 weeks and feeling more like 39.  This pregnancy has been the hardest for sure. Im so exhausted all the time and yesterday I could barely walk i hurt so bad.  Im just thankful for my wonderful husband that helps me out and lets me nap and take "me time" when I need it.  And he puts up with my moods.  Im very blessed to have him.  I love you Aaron!!....Even though you make it impossible to name this child.  ;-)

Happy St. Patty's Day!

The girls hand prints are always cute so we did leprechauns.

Last week they painted with green, white and yellow and I made them into 4 leaf clovers to send good luck.

Valentines Day

 We made sugar cookies for Valentines day today.  I gave them each a cookie to decorate for daddy first.  Jefrie did a great job but Eastyn just ate the frosting and sprinkles. 

 Then we colored daddy's valentine cards and put stickers on them.  He loved them!

 More unpacking fun....I love it when they play together.

St george visit before moving

We finally got a home to rent so we took a trip to St. George to get a washer and dryer and of coarse to see my family.

Happy Birthday Jefrie!!!

I cant believe my baby is 3!!!!  She is getting so big and cute I love it!  We started out the day going swimming.  Jefrie and Eastyn loved it!

Today was such a great day. We all had so much fun. :-)

Hogle Zoo

For Christmas we were so excited that we got a Zoo pass!  Last week we went to the Zoo lights at Hogle Zoo.  I thought it was way better than the denver zoo lights.

And yesterday we went to with our cousins and it was such a nice day to go.  I think we are going to try to go every thursday to get out of the house....unless someone wants to go another day, just let me know.  we love play dates!

 Jefrie and Eastyn both went down this slide all by themselves.  Its is a pretty big (long) slide, i didnt think Jefrie would do it.  I would have gotten a pic of Eastyn but she plopped on her tummy and just went and she went fast.  lol

We had so much fun!!!
