New home

So finally here are some pics of our new home (rental)
This is our view from our front porch.  I absolutely love it!!!

 This is our family room

And this is our kitchen dinning area.  Its a little messy but its the best its going to get for a while.
I would show other pictures of our rooms but they are a disaster and I dont feel like cleaning them just for a picture.  Maybe after the baby comes.  I love my home and so happy to be here. The girls are adjusting well to sharing a room and other than the mess, I think we are ready for the little guy to show up.

Firetrucks and Tulips

The other day, Jefrie was talking about firetrucks and I totally forgot that my uncle was a fireman (pregnancy brain) so I called up my aunt and we set up a play date to go see uncle Scott at the fire station.
At first the girls didnt want anything to do with the truck so aunt Terri got in the truck first.  Then they were interested.

Eastyn  didnt know what to think when we put the fireman hat on her.  lol

 Jefrie loved it!

They of coarse had to sit on uncle Scott's motorcycle too.  When we were leaving the fireman actually got a call so we got to see uncle Scott drive the firetruck with their lights and sirens on.

Thanks Uncle Scott!  Im so mad I didnt get a picture with you in it!  Next time.  :-)

Later that day we went to the Tulip festival with Gma Cobbley and the girl cousins.
 The flowers were sooooo beautiful!!
 Auntie Tawnia and Kayla

 Everyone loved feeding the fish

Playing in the water in the Secret Garden.

SOOOOO PRECIOUS!!!!!

The best part was sitting in the shade watching the girls "roll" down the hill.  (I was dying, lots of walking and it was hot!)  Auntie Tawnia made sure Eastyn stayed with the group....she is a handful!

Eastyn's haircut

Eastyn's hair has the cutest curls so I have been letting it grow for a while with little baby trims every once in a while but lately if I dont put it in pig tails, its a total mullet. So I gave her a good cut today.
I just love her curls!  (Jefrie wanted to be in the pic too.)
So cute!!  I only cut an inch and a half off but it was much needed and still long enough for her pig tails.

Easter

Jefrie eating her bunny from Gpa Crider.  Thanks Grandpa!!!
The Easter bunny came on saturday to our house this year because Aaron and I had to give talks on sunday and our ward is at 9 so it was just less hecktic that way.  He brought lots of eggs and movies.  The girls were way happy.

The girls wanted to watch a movie right away so they snuggled up with daddy to watch one.  Poor Aaron was so tired.

Easter Egg hunt

We woke up the girls this morning to go to the Easter Egg hunt at 8 am.  Jefrie didnt want to wake up until i mention candy.  When we got there they were pretty excited about it.

Jefrie did pretty good, she just had to take a good look at the candy before she put it in her bucket.

Aaron said that Eastyn picked up the first package of marshmellows and was ok with just that. lol  Aaron helped her realize there were more so she at least got 3 candies.  lol

They were occupied and didnt want to look at the camera.
Its crazy how fast the hunt goes.   We played at the park for a while after.

crazy fun

Where's Jefrie???
There she is!!
Jefrie discovered her toy bin is a great hidding place!

They love playing in Jefrie's bed lately. (I think because Eastyn loves the challenge of climbing on things to get on it)  Reading books to each other and playing that its bedtime. They also put there babies to sleep and snuggle them.  They are so stinkin cute when they play together.
Eastyn loves putting bins on her head and walking around.  She is so silly.
The other day Aaron was giving them a bath and he yelled, "Amy I need your help!"  I went in there and Eastyn had put the basket that holds the bath toys on her head and it was stuck.  (Sorry I didnt get a picture)  I truly think she is preparing me for all the things this little boy will do.

 close up!

Jefrie picked out Eastyn's clothes today. Not what i would have picked for a 71 degree day but I needed a picture of Eastyn wearing this because it used to be my favorite shirt when i was that small and I have one with Jefrie wearing it.
 Doing her silly face.  :-)

I wanted Jefrie to work on learning her name so I had her trace and practice her name.
She actually did a lot better than i thought she would. ...look at her cute concentrating face! :-)
We traced the left side together and she did the whole right side ALL by herself! (besides the last one) Im so proud.  :-)

This is our view from our front door.  I love it!!!  Its so beautiful here.  And I absolutely LOVE my ward!!!  There are so many great people here, so welcoming and friendly.  :-)  I told Aaron when we stop renting we will have to buy a house in this neighborhood.  He said he wouldn't mind that.  :-)  One day, when I actually clean my house, I will post pictures....today, I just hope to get the dishes done.

Potty Training

So its been a long adventure trying to potty train little Jefrie.  She has been excited about it many times so we start to train her but then she refuses after a couple days.  I dont blame her, she has been through a lot of transitions in the last year but Im SO READY for her to be trained already.  Im so thankful for wonderful friends that have helped me with this trial and given me support and ideas to encourage her again, and agian, and again. Well, we have tried a lot and shortly after we start she just seems to not care about the candy/toys she will get when she goes.  The latest was "no Im a baby."   She is so stinkin smart too because of coarse we were telling her that Eastyn is still a baby and that's why she wears diapers still so when she really wanted an apple one day after saying she is a baby i told her that babies cant have apples.  and her response "Eastyn eats apples"  lol  I CANT WIN!!!

Until now, I hope anyway.  We told her yesterday morning that the diaper fairies came and took her diapers away.  They all think she is a big girl and should wear her big girl underwear.  She bought it!  And she did pretty good at going on the potty.  After a few accidents she wanted to talk to the fairies that took her diapers.  lol  She cracks me up.  We only had 3 accidents yesterday and at the end of the day she ran in my room and said "mom I stopped my pee!"  she was so excited about it so we ran to the potty and she finished in the toilet with only a little piddle in her undies.  I think/hope/pray that I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  This morning she had a dry diaper (the fairy let us keep 10 diapers for bed time only) and went on the potty right away.  :-)

Here is a video of her dancing to her new favorite song, The potty dance.
