Ohhhhh she is just sooooooo cute!!!!

Jefrie is trying to help me wake up Aaron from his nap so we could go to dinner at my parents house, but Aaron just snuggled her right in with him.

Family outing to the Zoo

It was such a nice day out that we decided to go to the zoo. I dont know if it was around feeding time or what but the felines were going crazing roaring. It was way cool.

This one kinda looks creepy because you can see Jefrie's reflection in the glass and it looks like the cheetah is looking right at her wanting to pounce on her. Jefrie was actually awake at this point and im pretty sure she saw the cheetah cuz her eyes followed it as it walked passed us. It was cool how close it came up to the glass.


I had to beg Aaron to let me take a picture of him with Jefrie. He hates getting his picture taken. I want her to have proof that we all went to the zoo when she was a month old.

Dwight Schrute

So since I would be home with a baby for 4 weeks Hilary gave me a couple movies and "the office" season 1,2, and 3 to watch so i wouldnt get bored. So after watching the Office season 1 and 2 i looked down at Jefrie and the face she had looked like Dwight! It was hilarious!! Aaron thought I was just watching too much of the Office but then he saw it too.

Catching you up....

Sorry I have slacked on my blog the last couple weeks but I have way cute pictures so im sure you all will forgive me.

The last weekend in January Aaron's mom came out to see her new grand-baby. This is her holding the baby at the superbowl party we went to at our friend Erica's house.

Jefrie absolutely loves her binki.

We went over to my aunts house one night and little Quinn was there and she just had to hold the baby. When i was pregnant, Quinn would stick her belly out and say she had a baby too. It was so cute.

Last saturday I just needed to get out of the house so Aaron and I drove down town and walked around. It was a beautiful day. Then we went to Chili's for lunch. Jefrie did so well sitting quietly while we ate. She looked sooo precious with her little bow.

On Sunday we gave her her first actual bath. She loves getting her hair washed.

We tried out her swing today and she really likes it.

Jefrie took her first bottle today and she ate with no problems. :-) We are getting her prepared for when i go back to work :-( Dont you just love Aarons face in this? He is a goof but I love him.

One Week Old!

I love being a mommy!! Jefrie is sooo adorable, I love just watching her sleep, which is a good thing because thats pretty much all she does right now. She makes the cutest sounds and rarely cries. She is such a good baby.

So I woke up thursday morning around 3:30 with what felt like menstrual craps that came every 15 minutes and i couldnt get back to sleep. Finally about 7 i fell back asleep and the cramping was almost gone. I had a doctors apt. that morning at 9. the cramping started to come back as i got ready. I went in and and the hooked me up on monitors to make sure Jefrie was doing ok. The nurse was so excited when i told her about the cramping she said they could possibly be the signs of early labor. On the monitors you could see the little contractions. The doctor checked me and i was between 2 and 3 centimeters. He told to keep track of the contractions and i could go to the hospital anytime. My mom and i decided to go to Costco to walk a little. We left the doctor about 10:30am and in the car i definitely started to feel the contractions. As we walked in Costco I was in feeling it in my back, front and hips. it was not fun!! the contractions were every 5-10 minutes but luckily only lasting 30 seconds. We went to drop off groceries at my moms and i was sitting on the ball and walking around and the contractions were more around 5 minutes apart but still not lasting over 45 seconds. I couldnt stand them anymore and so we went to the hospital. Aaron met us there shortly after we arrived. (Around 1:00pm) I dont think the nurses believed me about how much pain i really was in. I told them what i measured to that morning and after i said, (ok maybe i said it a little onry) "this sucks someone shoot me now!!" at the end of a contraction the nurse stopped what she was doing and said, "ok im going to check you first" I WAS AT A 6!!!! the nurse was shocked and confessed that she was still thinking i would be at a 2 or 3 still. So she hurried and put me on the IV and called for the epidural. PEOPLE THAT DO IT WITHOUT AN EPIDURAL ARE INSANE!!!!

So this is me a while after the epidural set in. Man, epidurals are amazing.

They checked me in a few hours and i was an 8. I'm pretty sure my doctor wanted to finish his clients at the office before he came because they didnt come check me again until he got there around 5:30. (And of coarse i was a 10 by then) I was totally ok with that though cuz i got to rest and i was loving the epidural. He had to break my water and after about 30-40 minutes of pushing, Jefrie was finally here.
